So far so good!!

Today was our fourth day here and it has just been amazing! This is my first time being at tide pools and seeing first hand how the animals live and all the different types of habitats they can live in. we have been by the sandy shore here by CEDO, the mud flats at Cholla Bay, and at the rocky intertidal. Each one can house a number of creatures, like snails and crabs but different habitats suit other species better, for example, at the rocky intertidal is where we found sea stars which are in the phylum Echinoderma and the class asteroidia. At one point I had four of them and it was the coolest thing! Being on this trip has made me more excited to continue to study marine biology and has been such a wonderful experience!! I cannot wait for tomorrow when we head over to bird island and get to see sea lions!
