Today was incredible. Not only did I complete my scuba certification, but I got to do so in the company of dozens of sea lions. Along with the sea lions, I was also able to see plenty of star fish, crabs, a sting ray and an octopus. While we swam along at the bottom of the ocean the sea lions were diving all around us; zooming past just inches away from us. They were also playfully biting the ends of my flippers. To top off an already perfect day, we were greeted by a pod of dolphins who swam right along side us for several minutes as we made our way back into the harbor. I can't adequately convey the gratitude I feel for the experiences I was able to have to today.
